OLJ Copilot is a Chrome extension designed to help job seekers on OnlineJobs.ph apply to jobs more efficiently. We care about your privacy and want to be upfront about how your data is handled.

What data we collect

• Email address — used for authentication when you sign up or sign in.
• Resume text — stored locally on your device in Chrome's storage. It never leaves your browser unless you generate an application message.

What we do NOT collect

• Browsing history
• Personal data beyond your email
• Cookies for tracking or advertising

How your data is used

When you generate an application message, your resume text and the job description are sent to our backend server. The server forwards this information to the Google Gemini API to create a personalized message. Once the message is generated and returned to you, the data is discarded — it is never stored on our server.

Third-party services

• Supabase — handles authentication (email sign-in) and stores your monthly usage count. No personal content is stored in Supabase.
• Google Gemini API — processes your resume and job description to generate application messages. Data is sent only when you request a message and is not retained by our server.

Data retention

Only your usage count (number of AI generations per month) is stored in Supabase. Everything else — your resume, saved applications, and preferences — lives locally in your browser's storage. If you uninstall the extension, all local data is removed.

Your control

You can delete your resume and application history at any time by clearing the extension's data from your browser. You can also uninstall the extension to remove all local data entirely.
