      🔒 Summary: OLJ Copilot is designed with a strict privacy-first architecture. Your resume text is stored locally on your device. We never ask for your OnlineJobs.ph password, track your browsing history, or sell personal data.
    

1. Overview

OLJ Copilot ("we", "us", or "our") is a browser extension created to help remote job seekers on OnlineJobs.ph apply to jobs faster and more effectively. This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and protected when you use our extension and website.

2. What Information We Collect

Account Email: Used strictly for user authentication (sign-up/sign-in) and tracking your monthly free generation quota.
Resume Text: Stored locally in your Chrome browser storage. It is only sent to generate a customized application message when you explicitly trigger it on an apply page.
Application Tracking Data: Job titles and application statuses you choose to track are stored locally on your device.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

We never collect or store your OnlineJobs.ph password or login credentials.
We never track your general browsing history or monitor tabs outside OnlineJobs.ph.
We never use tracking cookies or sell your personal information to advertisers.

4. How Your Data Is Processed

When you click "Generate" on an application, your resume text and the current job post description are sent to our secure backend API, which forwards the request to Google Gemini API (Gemini 2.0 Flash) to craft a customized pitch.

Once the generated response is returned to your browser, the temporary payload is immediately discarded. It is not saved or retained on our application servers.

5. Third-Party Infrastructure

Supabase: Handles authentication and tracks your 30-day monthly generation quota counter.
Google Gemini API: Processes your resume and job description strictly to generate application drafts. Data sent is not used to train public foundation models.

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have full control over your data at all times. You can edit or clear your saved resume and application history directly inside the extension popup or by uninstalling the extension.
